It might just be that it is not so much about what is good or bad… it may actually be more about the choice we make…

Because we have free will, we have freedom of choice… and each choice is like a fork in the path of our lives. With each choice we alter our course and thus where we end up.

For example, if you look at the possible paths in a life as the branches of a tree, you can see how one’s choice(s) can land one on a particular branch or another completely opposite. Or, on the end of a branch – as a leaf, or as a fruit. Or even on the end of a dead branch.

Imagine a squirrel scampering about in a tree…

With each choice we make, we change what is presented as (or in) the next choice. Each step we take leads us forward, straight ahead, to the right or to the left. As a result, one branch we land on may… or may not…

This might seem a small difference at any one time but over many choices (or a lifetime) can be huge. One fork different at the bottom or middle of the tree and….

I believe this is what is meant by being in “the right place at the right time” or “the wrong place at the wrong time”. Where we, as individuals or societies, are now is all the result of prior choices… and this is true no matter how difficult it may be to accept (our) responsibility for those choices.

Thus it becomes necessary that one makes the best (or “good”) choice according to one’s deepest personal perception. This is what is meant by, “Follow your heart, or spirit.” To do otherwise, such as to do wrong, evil, or harm (according your own values – aware or not) will inevitably lead to being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

I honestly cannot tell you how many times I’ve seen this premise in action… in my own life as well as in the lives of those around me. Many times…

Live true…
