Foolish Man

I’m just a foolish man
doing what how I can

not knowing back then
have broken all Ten

through all these years
shed more than few tears

have known Love and Joy
even since a boy

start of end of start
All is One as Art

left with only this
sweeter than a kiss

no matter where from
Thy Kingdom will come

You are no foolish man, but wiser than most. If we weren’t flawed, we wouldn’t be worth a tinker’s damn.

    • Thank you… though I cannot, in all honesty, consider myself wiser in any way (somehow, to do so seems to be unwise)…

I think that ‘flawed’ is a natural part of who we are…
      and perhaps why we’re here…

There is much we didn’t know back then, and much I’m sure we’ll continue to learn. Forgiveness, and then love.

Riveting poem! Thanks for sharing. I will follow your blog and return to read more, for sure.

I have a new writing blog that I created after self-publishing my first novel for the Kindle. Please check it out and share your writing experiences with me!
