Sprinkle: Feeding The Beast

Please… do not feed the beast…
It has become a real problem…
The beast… not the feeding…
Well, yes, the feeding has too…
Oh, never mind…
Just stop feeding the beast, OK?…

  1. Reminded me of this: “Battle not with monsters, lest ye become a monster, and if you gaze into the abyss, the abyss gazes also into you.” (Nietzsche). Good shit, Matt. I’ve been battling very hard with this beast you speak of recently. Finally fighting back by keeping its food locked in the cupboard. Wish me luck.

  2. Visionkeeper says:

The beast is growing weak and it’s ribs are starting to show from lack of food. Have to fear, change is here. We are in the middle of it and freedom is just a breath away. Hang tight until we get there. The beast has no more strength to fight…..VK

    • Ah… truly I do wish I could agree… in one sense, outside of our little reality, this is almost true (far as I know, the battle still rages)… yet here, in this world where we exist, we have yet to see just how ferocious this hungry, rabid beast can be…

  3. What is truth?
A tree falls in a forest
    No one is around
Did the tree make a sound?

    The sun sets and rises
    Confirmation of time
The only way we can comprehend our BEing
Is this linear fashion of thinking

    But outside the box
    Exists a quasi-dimensional reality
Time, yes, and also time, no
What can be gathered from these things?
    Meaning, maybe, moss, maybe

Find a place and be still
And by that, it is implied
    To never stop growing
Enlightenment is the evolution of our ignorance into wisdom
    Our pain into compassion
Our perspective into the collective consciousness

I love you. Love, as it casts out fear, is perfect.

You make me smile and wonder at the same time … are you talking about the angry wolf?

That’s good advice! Nothing worse than a well-fed beast.
