A Ride – Meditation in Motion

Wasn’t even thinking of a post when I wrote this the other day but seems it’ll fill-in a space…

I went for a bike ride yesterday… a beautiful sunny day – 45 degrees – roads mostly dry… the bike runs great at these temps (not good for the oil though, water won’t evaporate)… my favorite riding weather — 45-65 degrees, dry, not much wind…

When I ride, and am properly centered, I know that everything depends onย the Lord… kind of if He blinks, I’m dead… but when I know it’s right, I have complete faith that it is… on these extra special rides I just ride — no worries about cops, speed, dumb drivers… times like this I say my prayers, hope I have everything buttoned down right, and open the throttle… right into the top end… living & riding strictly in Faith, with joy…

Almost from the start, the bike and I merge into a Zen-like state… pistons pulling, wheels turning, heart pumping… a single entity… we blend with Life…

All becomes One… within the One is consciousness in motion… I… Freedom Aware… Spirit Alive… Life fast floating within itself…

…mile after mile… meditation in motion…
