Divine and Thine

Creation, majestic and bold,
Is the Lord’s to have and to hold;
But through a love divine,
It is also thine.

Life, a part of God,
Springs but from a pod.
Life and Love, both His, both Fine,
Are also thine.

Perhaps there is more,
That you hunger for.
Well, be it coarse or fine,
Dear love, it too is thine.

By speaking of these ‘toys’,
The Lord creates or destroys.
This power, so just and kind,
This too is thine.
